Ballot Demonstrations

goVote offers a wide range of ballot types to meet the voting needs of any organisation. Some of them are demonstrated on this page so that you can try them out.

Remember we offer a customisation service that allows any of our ballots to be tailored to meet your exact requirements.

If you would like to know more about our range of ballots, click on the  "our services" tab on our home page.

quickVote Ballots
quickVote ballots are small instant tally ballots that can be easily embedded onto any HTML page to gauge the opinions of visitors to the site. They usually comprise a single question, however we also offer a 2 question quickVote with cross tabulation.

quickVote enable visitors to your site to engage in dialogue with you on issues of common interest.  If the questions relate to a topical or controversial issue, there is more chance that a visitor will vote to express their own opinion, and then have a reason to return later to see how their opinion compares to everyone else's.

quickVote ballots are based on the same robust and secure technology that supports all our goVote surveys, with the following additional features :

  • The look and feel of each quickVote ballot can be completely customised to suit the page where it is embedded.
  • Several different quickVote ballots can be placed on the same page.

DIY quickVote System
The DIY quickVote System allows you to easily create and administer your own quickVote, without any special computer software or programming skills.

In consultation with you, we set up a page template for your quickVote on our secure web server and give you a password that enables you to change it on line whenever you wish. We also give you a link that you can place on your own web site, which your visitors can use to access your quickVote (see 5 above).

All aspects of your DIY quickVote can be customised on line, including:

  • The title
  • A choice of one or two questions
  • The text of each question
  • The format of the question font
  • The response type (drop down list, radio buttons, etc.)
  • The response text (e.g. the contents of the drop down list)
  • Whether the data from two questions is cross tabulated or displayed sequentially.

You can also reset the data register for your DIY quickVote whenever you wish.

Please send us a message at info@govote.com.au if you would like to try this demonstration and we will send you your own access code and password.
